When you go through the box tell him that you can pay less and they will let you pass. The MET's policy is for everyone to see the museum since it is a world heritage site. There are pieces from all over the world that is why they want you to see it !!! I went with my husband and daughter and asked to pay $ 50 and no problem. Good luck !!!
