Do this the night before if using treats so it won’t be used against him why he can’t be neutered. No water or food after misnight the night before. Even a laser is good to get them in. Cats are smart so bring the crate up and leave it out for at least two days with the crate door open and jam it so it doesn’t close on him.
Keep the crate out for a few days. If they are used to your scent put a tshirt of yours inside. I tied a long string to the crate door, put tuna fish inside, then when cat enters i can secure the door from a distance. If they are really hungry should work. Just make sure it is done the night before and cat litter pan is set up inside already.
I would get Feliway. It will relax him. Spray underneath a wee wee pad. Then put it in carrier. Make sure it is dry first
