https://www.chewy.com/petcentral/when-can-i-get-my-kitten-tested-for-fiv-felv according to this article 1. FeLV test can be done at any age 2. kitten tested FIV negative should be confirmed again when it turns older ( more than6 month old) but the FIV negative result strongly suggests the kitten is not infected with FIV. so technically both tests can be done at any age. if you are getting a kitten that is younger than 6 month old, you should look for shelters or shops that can provide FIV negative FeLV negative test results. Better be cautious than sorry later. FIV and FeLV test results are not found on their website. It should be a good idea to double check before you commit your time, love and money despite the age of the cat you are adopting. I wish they can be more transparent regarding to this.

They have to be over 6 months for FIV and FELV tests to be accurate. Deworming is done as needed for kittens and adults.
