I got a permit in NJ but didn't have a chance to get a drivers license there. Is that permit valid here in Ct or I have to start all over again?

I would guess you have two choices, either complete the process in New Jersey or start feom scratch in CT. However, I do not work for the DMV. When I went there to get my lpermit, etc. they were actuallg very nice and helpful. Id recommend going straight to the source and asking them. Either go in person with your paperwork or call and see what theyll tell you o er the phone. Make sure to fimd out what documents they want you to bring in. The only time Ive seen th waive things is for Military peraonnel who had to transfer and that require proof- copies of orders, etc. And then they wai e some charges, but I'm not sure exactly what all...
