That's funny I came from Mass and they allowed me to do that I would suggest bringing some good proof of address and you have to bring your birth certificate to switch your license over but the templates allow you to get sometime on the road to get your emissions testing done there's a place up the street called foxy Lube that doesn't missions testing I would advise against using them they were terrible to deal with
