Hi Cynthia, why don't you stop by the rescue during the day and talk to someone who works with the animals? I'm sure your concern about what they all eat every day will be resolved. Did you know there are more than 50 horses at Lucky Orphans and the cost for keeping their horses fed, happy and healthy is $20/a day, per horse/pony? That's $7300 a year - For one horse/pony. Horses eat hay and sweet feed n water twice a day mostly. Is that what you are asking? That is unless they are in pasture
