There are also doctors who will do certification via telemedicine, which, for most conditions considered eligible by NYS, is a great way to get it done. Most people with the required diagnoses who would benefit from the NYS MMP don't want to have to leave their house unless necessary. Hellomd, nugg, and several other online services are available for telemedicine appointments. I would suggest using Google or your search engine of choice to find one. The staff at Curaleaf are extremely helpful, and will literally sit you down with one of their laptops and help you get started with New York State's process. They really do know the ins-and-outs of the state's MMP.
Talk to the great people at curaleaf.... They will help you.
You need to go online follow the rules on the NYS website and go to an approved Dr. Just Google NYS medical marijuana and follow the links.
Hi Naomi, Great question! The Department of Health website does overview the process for New York Medical Marijuana Program. Also, our Curaleaf NY Twitter account has a pinned video at the top of our feed that shows the five steps of getting certified and registered with the program. And Steve is right - We also welcome you to come to Curaleaf Hudson Valley and we will walk you through the entire process. We're open seven days a week (closed for some holidays) and walk-ins are always welcome. See you soon!
