The golf carts can be driven on Estero Island and San Carlos Island PLUS one mile off the south bridge to Lover’s Key State Park Main Entrance. San Carlos Island is over the north bridge up to the first stoplight. Our golf carts are all street legal and have automobile license tags. Florida law classifies them as a Low Speed Vehicle (LSV) and they will go 25MPH max and should be driven only on roads 35MPH and less.
Street Legal Golf Carts in Florida are classified as LSV (Low Speed Vehicle). By Law they can go 25MPH and should stay on roads with a 35MPH Speed Limit, or less. We allow the golf carts to go all over Estero Island and across the south bridge no further than the main entrance to Lover's Key State Park. Across the big north bridge they can go as far as the 1st stoplight.
I'm not sure how far you can go with it. I rented mine about an hour from closing, so I didn't go to far. But they are street legal. It has blinkers, break lights, etc... It tops out at around 40MPH but the acceleration is very slow. I'm not sure you'd make it over the big bridge, but I'd just ask the the gentleman who works there. He's a pretty chill dude.
