Mannasa Batitifeild park is a really nice place to go. I have been there several times and it's dark a safe. 1st exit off route 66 West in Manassas past the NOVA campus.

Also it's not a super dark sky out there. Recommend going a bit more West towards the end of i66. Or towards the plains VA
