Is there anywhere else near by where you can park and walk or park and launch into the river? It was full when I tried to go and couldn't find any where up river to park...

It was full when I was there. We waited near the parking area in the car until someone left. Be ready to move if asked.

It was full when I went there so I have to park far away and then called an uber to he spot. You could do the same if you are only going there to swim or try going on a weekday and in the morning.

Hi April, unfortunately not. The surrounding area of Daniels is mostly residential with no shoulder to park. You'd get towed or ticketed. You'd need to go to a different park entrance along the Patapsco.
