Yes definitely! It would probably be worth reserving the pavilion but there's a lot of space for even 50 or so people.
The pavilion is shaded but that's it. Everything else from what I've seen is a big open field.

Yes people fish out of the lake, they also rent boats during the spring and summer. Never fished here personally but I always see people fishing.
