If you aren't getting a membership, paying the few dollars more for the total experience is well worth it. The membership is really the way to go though. Our four-year-old is turning into a little naturalist and is learning the names of all of the animals. She also absolutely adores the playground and splash pad. If you save your souvenir cups the refills are a dollar and they are perfectly fine with you bringing in a cooler of snacks or lunch too.
