There's plenty of places to sit. You can bring your own food. It's not your standard zoo. Your walking around greenery taking turn lefts and rights kinda got lost...feels like your part of the jungle. I wouldn't want to carry chairs around, but if it has wheels, go for it.
Yes you can bring your own chairs and snacks. However, there are several snack booths and sitting/picnic areas available. There are also benches throughout the zoo.
