I don't understand why florida is so hard on pet owners? I can see maybe putting a limit on vicous dogs breeds but i don't understand why a person who travels thousands of miles with there small pets are not allowed to bring them to florida parks.

Because people with small animals think all of their pets waste just washes away when they leave because their pooch is so small... "IT DOESN'T." Park rangers have to pick up all of those pet droppings or by weeks end the park will be drowning in doggie doo.

I agree with ms sharpe. Also there is a long history of pet owners not being responsible with their pets "waste".

I do understand, but there are places that do allow, and in Jacksonville and surrounding areas are at least a dozen or more Beaches. Huguenot use to allow, but keep in mind; the beach got hit very hard by hurricane Irma last Hurricane season, therefore we lost over half the beach access. Its a popular beach and gets very crowded at times, and cars are usually parked side to side. So its for you and your pets safety to find a place that your pet can run around mire easier.
