Yes, you can go inside Hogwarts. The entrance to the ride takes you through some parts of the castle, including Dumbledore's office. There are other props as you wind through. And you can opt out of the ride if it's not your thing. But if you can handle the drops and turns of a roller coaster, it's really worth it. They have interactive video that makes you feel like you're flying outside of the castle, through the Quidditch pitch, through the black forest with the spiders, etc. I'd highly recommend doing the ride -- multiple times if you can!

Hogwarts is a scale model that you can't go inside. Some of the sets etc are there.
