I think depends on airline. Allegiant. My flight was at 5:58 P.M. Checked in online. Walked right in where they scan you at 5:10. They started boarding at 5:15. I was in row 16. So wasn't the first to board. Bad traffic coming North. Didn't plan on cutting it that close. Plenty of time...
Generally they say be there 2 hrs before your flight. When we've flown early morning it seems like plenty of extra time but afternoon flights get there in plenty of extra time cause the lines get long. Its not a huge airport but it's pretty big.
Well if your flying Allegent they want you there to check your bags 45 mins before boarding time,after that your SOL..I don't know about other carriers
