We just got our puppy from a week ago. As stated you have to put in a survey for a dog you would like to see. The trouble now is that they are receiving tons of those applications per dog so you maybe submitting multiple surveys. Make sure you put multiple animals done so you have a better chance. After about 3 surveys with 6 dogs a piece we finally were able to meet one. Great group, they try really hard to help families adopt.
You submit the adoption application online for the pet you would like to meet. Then someone from the SPCA will give you a call within 7 days to go over your application. Takes about 20 minutes. Then you can make an appointment to meet the pet you applied to adopt. You'll have about 30 minutes at the pet in person meeting. I was able to go in the day after the phone call and completed the adoption the next day.
