It’s silly that a dog can be pending adoption without you having to meet the dog first. We wanted to get a dog that we met at SPCA. The lady in the back took a long time to even answer the door to open up the puppy room then she let us take the dog we wanted to hold and bond with the dog before telling us that we couldn’t get her because she was already pending adoption from someone who hadn’t even met her yet. The front desk seemed very nice and informative, but the lady who worked in the puppy area was terrible.

Nice place, friendly staff.

Shout out to Eva for great customer care and taking care of any situation that needs taken care of.

Wake county SPCA does not take animals in. You have to take the to Wake County Animal Shelter. The are near New Bern Ave and New Hope Rd
Yes, they had a post on their website about it
I don't know if they have clinics. They do adopt out rabbits though
The animals love human company the best.
They have a place where you can drop these materials in the front desk. They have a list there of what materials they need. The people at the front desk will help you on figuring out which items are suitable. Hope this helps.
I believe that you can register with SPCA with a preference for a particular breed of dog. If they get one they will contact you.
Ask your vet. If you don't have one you can Google ones in your area and check their reviews.
This is a first come first served location. You will need to go to the SPCA to see what pets are currently available. You can look on their website, but the availability online is not changed in real time.
Most likely whatever gets donated to them
Adoption Fees Adult Dog Adoption Fees (7 months and older): $95.00 Puppy Adoption Fees (6 months and younger): $200.00 Adult Cat Adoption Fees (7 months and older): $45.00 Kitten Adoption Fees (6 months and younger): $105.00 Bunny Adoption Fee: $35.00 Guinea Pig Adoption Fee: $15.00
Most dogs, and cats are adopted on the weekends, so if you were there this week. You might want to go back beforethe weekend!
You may find various breeds here and volunteers should be able to provide you more details abt the breed
Age limit? There isn’t one! Starting age? Pretty young maybe 8, with an older volunteer. :)
Yes they will help, as room is available, for individuals who have to surrender them.
They spay and neuter all the cats and dogs that aren't already spayed/neutered
My puppy was $150, the 11 year old was $95, but keep in mind That's just the beginning. You are required to take them to the vet within a couple of weeks and provide heartworm and flea meds etc. Even when a dog is free they are expensive. Good luck!
Look over their website. It is not their purpose. If in doubt call.
thanks so much for thinking of us! we aren't in need of linens (and in fact, we've run into storage challenges with the linens we have on hand!) however, there are several other organizations in the community that can probably put them to good use. The Wake Co Womens' Center might be a good one to ask. Thanks again for your support of SPCA Wake!

What is spive?
If I'm not mistaken, they don't accept animals from individuals, only kill shelters. If you're looking for a means of rehoming him/her check out guineapigfinder.com. If you've bought your guinea pig from a local PetSmart, you can return it within 14 days. Some Petco stores will accept a healthy guinea pig for re-adoption, but most of the time not. Hope this helped.
You can bring your own but they sell them there as well
Per their website any dog 7 months or older is 95 dollars.
I did. You just need to submit your adoption information via the website and they will reach out to you.
Not at the moment. But according to their website spcawake.org they are doing adoptions but qualifying is done over the phone and with video conferencing, in person appointments will made via phone or email after completing potential pet adopter surveys online. See the website for more details.
Yes give them a call and they will tell you where you can drop it off they usually have boxes out front for these things
The adoption fees are on the website
It's an animal shelter, not a pet store/animal breeder.
They should be able to take that as a donation. Donated a couple of cat beds our cat never used
18 years old
sorry I wouldn't know about the Wake Forest Area
They can go in with you and hold them or show you tamer dogs. You need to take your kids with you when you go. Also if you have other pets..schedule a date and time for them to meet any possible new family member. They also let you take them home for a test run if all is good.
Call animal control
Sometimes. Calling and asking or checking the website is the best way to find out. they are a rescue organization and they do not order puppies. Due to the fact that they are a rescue organization they don't label breeds
yes they do. you have to call them ahead of time to get an appointment though. they will provide all other details at that time
sounds like a matter for law enforcement or at least a lawyer
Don't just bring him to the SPCA. They only accept animals by appointment, so do call ahead.
Thank you for the info.
Highly unlikely. Try a pet rescue that's breed specific
Take it to a vet. There is a 24 hr. Vet in holly springs right where Dunkin donuts is.
They do, but only a certain amount of vounteers do. It is best to bring someone to help you translate just in case.
I don't think the SPCA is equipped to take on lynx. Maybe try contacting the vet hospital Avian and Exotics. There is also a big cat rescue near by that has some smaller felines like lynx. Just google NC big cat rescue or sanctuary.
They have a website where you can look at photos of the pets available for adoption.
They usually have small animals like rabbits and sometimes guinea pigs.
Yes it ranges between what animal u get and the paperwork is only for a reference check to make sure you are fit to house and support a pet. For example: bunnies are 35$ then u have to buy the supplies and come there with something to take them out in
