As an employee of this operation I can say the problems start at the top. No accountability, other employees pick and chose when they decide to come into work. For a state operation this isn’t managed as well as your local McDonalds. 1 star is a star too many. I’ve tried calling the office for a week now, no one answers the phones and no one returns phone calls. Hopefully my letter to the governors office changes how this under performing crew conducts business in the future

The worse call center ever. I am certain that person had a clown nose and clown shoes on. WOW!

Any local state or County Veterans Service Office.
No, we are State of NC Office. You will need to schedule an appointment with a military ID card office through the rapids appointment scheduler. https://rapids-appointments.dmdc.osd.mil/
You have to submit a copy of your DD-214 and VA rating letter to your local (by County Office) Veteran Service Office prior to submitting to the NCDMV.
Not sure about ID. I assume so. Just go up to front door on front porch. There is visitor parking in parking garage just past the building.
The National Archives allows you to do this online. https://www.archives.gov/veterans
The National Archives can complete the request online. https://www.archives.gov/veterans/military-service-records
