The monorail to/from the strip is across the street. It isn't cheap though. $12 a day. I suggest Uber. They service Vegas well.
0.7 mile which translates to 15mins of walking. If you don't plan to travel back and forth the hotel and strip I will suggest find a cheaper hotel in downtown and travel to strip via Deuce bus service with 15mins frequency 24×7 and very cost effective. I hope that helps
