Need to make an appointment at the DMV in Stockton, CA to renew driver's license etc. Called the 1-800 number, not successful. How do I get an in-person appointment.

The dmv usually won't have appointment availability for a month or two ahead. They're still accepting walk ins from 9am-11am. What I did was show up at 9am and they send you a text with your spot in line. I ended up waiting at home until it was nearly my turn. Then I drove back and was seen at around 1pm.

Just show up early morning I did that last Friday got my license today
