Does anybody know if there are any types of organisms such as crabs, clams, snails or any other types of creatures living in Brite lake up in Tehachapi? I don’t see much about it’s ecology besides fish, I’ve seen redear sliders in a pond nearby

I found some discarded snail shells right at the shore line not alot a few like half inch diameter

They stock the lake with fish once a year for the Fishing Derby

My son went fishing with a friend and brought home crawfish. They where about 3 inches long. I have been to Brites Lake and have never seen them but I've only been a few times.

It only has fish.
