Great hike. I'd say 90 percent fire road up to the top. The first 10 is a nice little hiking trail. Little less than 4 miles and 1122 ft in elevation gain ish from where we parked.

I took my three medium sized dogs everywhere I hiked and had no problems. The little doggy doo bags were even provided. Now, I have to mention that my dogs are experienced hikers. I wouldn't suggest taking a young pup or a first timer. Have fun and Happy Trails!!!
It's a very short trail. It's a loop and doesn't take long at all. Be advised that it has an incline.
