Yes, free parking both along Platte Clove Rd as well as a parking lot at Huckleberry point trailhead about 200 yards down the road from the Overlook trailhead. Port-a-jon located at Huckleberry point parking lot too.
There is very limited on-street parking on Platte Clove Road and the Town of Hunter is enforcing their no-parking areas with parking tickets and towing. Visitors should park in the NYSDEC trailhead parking lot about 100 yards east of the Platte Clove Preserve.
