How expensive are the emergency visits?

Depends on what the issue is. My days visit was a few hundred dollars but I took a very conservative approach to how to deal with the situation.

My cat had a diabetic emergency at 1 in the morning. She was in critical condition. My cost was $600 which I thought was reasonable considering she had to have Round the Clock care including hourly blood draws for about 8 straight hours. Depending on the type of emergency it could be less or more than what I paid.
