I had my first appointment at Quivira Internal Medicine this week and I loved it!! 1. The staff was fantastic! Everyone was incredibly kind. I had 0 wait time. 2. Dr. Ansari was amazing. Super knowledgeable and has great bedside manner. He listened intently to my healthcare needs and gave me recommendations for improvement. I did not feel rushed during my appointment, nor that I was being rushed out the door. 3. The fact that their lab is in house is another added plus for me. I have a newborn and a full time job, and the fact that I don’t have to drive to a lab or make another appointment is a great selling point. I am fairly new to the area and have been looking for good physicians to care for my health and my family’s. I’m really happy that I have found a PCP that I’m very comfortable with.

A nurse practitioner there was treating me for a migraine. I told her sumatriptan helped. She told me that she didn't know what a month's supply was. Being that she was a practitioner, I believed she would look up the correct dose and send it to my pharmacy. She prescribed 15 pills as a month's supply. Even Google could have told her that using over 9 pills in a month could result in all sorts of harm, including a heart attack. Complacency. Bad practice. Neglect. Forewarned is forarmed.

Dr. Dennison is a fantastic doctor, always very attentive to my healthcare needs and takes time to listen when many doctors now days are “in a rush.” Her assistant Lena is very kind and skilled at drawing blood. The office staff have always been very professional. I wish they would email my lab results each time so I do not have to call and request, but that’s my only gripe! 5 stars! Great place!
