I highly recommend go in person if possible to save on paying allot in "convenience charges". You pay the ticket gave value and they give you your tickets on the spot!
Ticketmaster is the only official ticketing partner of Broadway in Chicago, to save the cost of fees through TM buy direct from the box office. Any tickets not purchased directly through the box office or Ticketmaster cannot be guaranteed authentic.
If you do decide to go to Craigslist use caution before you send your personal information and credit card info. Personally I would use Ticketmaster, StubHub or the theatre itself to make any kind of purchase. You still have to pay some "Service Fees" but it's better than buying a bogus ticket from a stranger. Just my opinion. Good luck!
