I have some Italian dishes. The shiney surface is gone from several. I assume that these pieces are not safe to eat from. Lead??? Do these need reglazing? Do you do re-glazing? If not, can you direct me to a place that does this? Thanks, KK

Hi Kathy, re-glazing pottery is usually not possible. There are many variables that might make the plates unusable but If you are concerned about lead there are testing kits available for less than $20. Good Luck, Aaron at Red Kiln

Red Kiln does not re-glaze pottery. If you know the manufacturer for your pottery, you would need to contact them to see if there is an option.

Red kiln is American, not Italian. You need to ask someone in Italy.
