Why do you have to smoke other people's cigarettes to get into the store? The employees smoke about 12 feet from the front door. I know it is legal but anyone entering the main doors on the west end have to smoke cigarettes to get into the store.

I always get to smoke my own. I've never been handed someone elses. I would actually be happy if someone gave me a free smoke.

I highly suggest you contact corporate in regards to this. You're not the first person that's experienced this problem.

Ask management and see if they care about the customer experience you are having.?

Ask the management if they would designate a smoking area away from the doors for customers and employees. The law requires 10 ft but, any facility can have their own requirements including 'smoke free' campuses. Of course, enforcement of any policy outside of the 10 feet is the facilities responsibiliyy, not by law enforcement personnel.

Since the bench is located on the west end of the store I would recommend entering through the east end doors so as to avoid any unpleasant smells.

Thats a tough one. State laws only requires for someone to be 10 feet from any door
