You're absolutely welcome to visit! We just ask that, if potential adopters want to visit the cats or kittens you're cuddling, you excuse yourself so the cats don't miss out on a visit from people who are in a position to give them a permanent home. The cats and kittens enjoy visits from everyone (well, most cats and kittens anyway!), but finding forever homes for them is the priority.
As a student, I'm not in a position to adopt, but I stop by The Cat House often to spend time with the cats and I feel very welcome.
Yup! Just tell them when you come in that you're just there to visit with the cats. It's a blast every time a friend and I go.
I would say so. My wife and I went here all the time before finally adopting ours, but since we've lost them we aren't ready to move on. Regardless, we still visit from time to time without intention to adopt and haven't had any issue. In fact, I'd recommend going here over any other adoption center since you can just walk into the rooms and pet cats.
