Bluestem Health - Main Clinic | Oct 25, 2021

Hi Sidney, that can be a difficult question to answer. If you have severe GI issues, sometimes those are best managed by a specialist. But, if only one of our PCPs can answer that, based on your history and how comfortable they are with your chronic disease process.

Bluestem Health - Main Clinic | Sep 20, 2020

Hi Carlos, please call 402-476-1455 to schedule an appointment with one of our clinicians and/or patient support department. Our patient support department can qualify you for our sliding fee discount program, so you'll have estimated costs for visits prior to your appointment. Or you'll have at least 30 days after your appointment to meet with them and get qualified for our sliding fee discount program and they'll update your account retroactively. We have 5 clinic locations that we can refer you to. If you believe you need an urgent appointment, you can ask to speak with one of our Triage Nurses. If you feel like you have an immediate emergency, please call 911.

They do accept United Health Care. Yeah you have to make an appointment, its better if you go in person to make the appointment because sometimes they don't pick up the phone.. and it's hard to get appointments..

If you have bill already. Do you have to pay them first before getting another appointment.

Hi Frank, unfortunately, we do not have walk in dentistry options. We may be able to triage your situation if you do walk in, but cannot guarantee same day appointments. Please call our offices at 402-476-1655 to see what your options are.

I have no insurance or money to pay. Can I get help to renew my prescriptions?

Ken Kempton | Sep 21, 2018
Bluestem Health - Main Clinic | Sep 21, 2018

Hi Ken, thank you for reaching out. We are not a free clinic, so there is a charge for all services we offer. However, we do offer financial assistance to those that are 250% or below the Federal Poverty Limits. Our lowest nominal fee for an office visit is $30 and the most is $80 plus $10-$25 per lab and you'll be responsible for the cost of the medication at the pharmacy. We do offer 40-70% discounts on most medications, because of our 340B Pharmacy program which includes Kohll's, Walmart, Walgreens, and Genoa Pharmacies. I would encourage you to contact our Patient Support Services department at 402-476-1455 to schedule an appointment with them to get you qualified for the Sliding Fee Discount Program. Once that is completed, they can give you information as to how much it will cost for services like a doctor's appointment.

Does this place charge anything to see the doctor?

Troy Wilhite | Sep 21, 2018
Wasn't Me | Sep 21, 2018

@shelleypalmer the "of course they do" was not necessary. Yes, this place does have a sliding fee scale, although there are some places that offer completely free services (excluding special testing and conditions requiring a specialized doctor). Long story short this was a reasonable question and if you do need a FREE clinic I would recommend the People City Mission Clinic. If they can't help they will try to find someone who can.
