You have to make an appearance at your local BMV to replace that.
You need to check the website for what identification you need to take with you, and then actually go to the bmv building to have it replaced. You may have to have your photo taken again and they give you a paper stating it is your id until your real plastic one arrives. It generally will arrive in the mail about two weeks later
