Is over night parking permitted in the areas that state 24/7 parking...i have lots of traveler friend's who are planning a road trip through new orleans and want to find locations that they can park overnight for free

I would not recommend they do, it's watched by police at night and they will probably get bother about it. But the Lakeview shore it's good as long as you don't stay there long.
