I really enjoyed this park. I liked the fact that the ground around the playground was padded and didn't have gravel.

Cute park and playground, not many people during the day, and there is some shade when the trees have leaves! No swings and no bathroom, however, so four stars.

when i was a small child in the 40sthere was a bandstand / Gazebo in the center surrounded by big oak trees. A hurricane damaged everything in and arround the square. holy reedemer church and the public library on the corner. once all the damaged oak trees were cut down it became a popular softball park. Womens league was very popular and competitive. the main entrance was in the middle of the block on Frenchmen st. Large stone and concrete entrance was really cool.
