That depends entirely on your level of interest and the season in which you visit. My daughter (a non gardener) and I (a Horticulturist and retired garden designer) spent approximately four hours on our first visit. It was summertime.
I usually go for at least five hours so I have time to discover and learn... it is so peaceful and wonderful; why time it?

I spend about 3 hours, I always go with my grandchildren and they enjoy to walk around, take pictures and sit relax to have lunch. Beautiful and so peaceful.
