The rule is actually no disposable containers so yes yeti cups ( absolutely no alcohol ) are allowed. Even food is allowed as long as it is not in bags ( again reusable containers) as a park employee we try very hard to keep the items not allowed off the river, but people do sneak it on and litter.
You are not supposed to bring food and drink. I have seen empty beer cans floating in the river. Best practice is to bring nothing but if one must, something like a yeti cup or tervis, that you wouldn't just throw away, is the best bet.
But when you aren't actually on the river, you can enjoy the picnic/bbq areas. If you are going to the river, there is another place called "Little River" that you can enjoy.

Yes, they allow you to bring cups that you would not throw away. Water bottles, cans, glass etc. are not permitted on the river.
