Why is it when a African American visit wayfinders they get excuse after excuse or they find a way to turn us African Americans away or not help us, but the Latinos get it all? Can someone please tell me something???

They give attitude and turn away alot of people not just African Americans my self being Latina got denied !!!!! Several times even with all of my documents of being homeless and denied at Dta/dhcd

Not true at all it's not a race thing whatsoever. The company serves lots of people,not defending how slow they can be. As a Hispanic this is extremely offensive to hear. If you have issues with how slow Wayfinders is call supervisors and higher ups. Report your worker, all things I had to do to get someone to hear me and do their job.

Hi I am white and I think since covid /all housing places In Massachusetts are extremely overwhelmed.i was accepted to a program to help wth my mortgage In Nov only to have payment scheduled and the law changed Jan 1 2022. Disabled cancer homeowner.. all of these places try to help I do believe! It is patience as I wait to speak w someone I started at caller #47... Definitely patience and not race.

This how I felt. I'm not African American but my child is half A.A. I was homeless when my child was a new born. At that time They were known as HAP. I went to DTA for help I got denied shelter. And watch them help a PR family with older kids seek shelter.... Smh I've spent years on waiting list.
