They took over 5 hours just to get my boyfriend into the E. R. and then another hour to get a doctor there. They provided subpar care as well as left him in there for an extra hour and a half with no nurse or doctor in sight to even get discharge papers. If I could give them 0 stars I could because he was in a lot of pain and discomfort. I I understand they get busy but maybe take care of the patients you have at least because why did they take so long to see him and then leave him there to be discharged the room could have gone to someone else. It's disgusting and disgraceful everything about this place. It was also filthy inside and needs to be cleaned.

9+ hr wait. Left me to sit in pain - and thats before anyone saw me.. They told me after 4 hrs that I was " at the top of the list". At hour 9, they tell me same ...but it could also "be another 4-12 hour wait... Its been up to 25 hrs" and then tell me, " You should go to another hospital." Can you believe that? And its not just me, really really really sick, suffering, moaning (no exaggeration) people languishing in waiting room for hours & hours. The staff are nice but their system is far from efficient. If I could give less than zero recommendation I would . Go anywhere else. ( I should have read the abundance of 1 star reviews before putting my trust in Baystate Medical center.) Baystate , dont bother to try pacifying me with a response. Youre not enough and you know it. Do better. Thats the response I want.

Agreed
If you have not already post this under Google reviews if you want . I am sure they would love to see it. Good your experience was well.
It is federal law that all certified service animals must be allowed. That is part of the Americans with Disabilities Act. There is a policy against emotional support animals.

Depends on the unit. My suggestion is to check the website for more information on this. It states visiting hours by unit.
No experience with that, but if a loved one dies at baystate and they tell you to come to the morgue to make arrangements for transportation MAKE SURE THEY GIVE YOU A SCHEDULED APPOINTMENT. They will tell you to come down, but when you arrive in the lobby they will ask if you have an appointment and you may wait in the lobby for 2 hours like I did.
Hi Cheryle: Entyvio infusions for Crohn’s disease, are given in the Medical Office Building on the main campus. Thank you.
It would be best to call and ask.
Nope I don't think there's any shuttle from ware to Springfield

Call and ask
Well I do not know very well but try to advise you first by calling and asking ... with asking you do not lose anything😉😉😉
It is stated on the website under icu page.
You should always call the e.r. and ask to speak to her nurse ok 👌
You can go to the security department on the third floor and they give you more information
Most of them commute

Park at the lot off of Chestnut street.
Yes the hospital is very good with accommodating families and has many areas and rooms for them to rest and relax in while visiting. And yes there are many many hotels of all types in the area.
You might be able to find this under the website.
Of course it depends on the seriousness of your medical issue. But I can say, from personal experience, that if you do have a real emergency they will treat you instantly, no wait at all.
Yes there is. Also gifts of different sorts.
So the conference center at in Holyoke isn't like an office that you can call. It's just empty rooms that people can arrange to have classes in. You have to get a hold of whoever is teaching the classes you are looking for.
The cafeteria is open 24 hours, 7 days a week.
Sorry but I don't know but just call the hospital. They are really friendly and well help you.
