Look at old people.
It's a aquarium!!!!!!!
The seaport and restaurants nearby.
The Seaport of course! And you cant go without visiting Mystic Pizza
It's a surprisingly intersting place. The favorite will depend on your interests. They have a replica of a fishing village from the 1700's (doctor's office, school, etc.) There's and old whaling boat you can explore, a miniature replica of old Mystic, the dockyard. Plenty to do and see.
Hi there., Several things to do: (1) Walking around an old seaport (recreated) and experiencing the way of life from the days of yore... is quite an interesting thing to do. (2) Whaling Ships and one of the oldest surviving Seafaring ship - Going on board. (3) For Kids - There's a Toy boat building workshop, its a nice takeaway. (4) Walking around the Ship preservation workshops - For folks who like craftmaking and worksmanship. (5) Most of all, every one of these places are full of stories from a century ago and more. To me this was the real favorite thing to do... Learning of the what transpired, people and history, etc. (6) The Maritime Store there deserves good hour! Shopaholics like me... beware... They've some amazing collectibles. Just pouring over them by itself is fun! Note: Many of the folks you'd see guiding visitors are volunteers from around there. And if you're a Tintin fan... if you're lucky you might meet a guy who bears a striking resemblance to Captain Haddock! 😋
