Hello, My dad will be relocating to the Baltimore area from the Durham VA which has been a fantastic experience. His mobility is extremely limited. Is there close parking and/or assistance available if needed? Valet parking?

Ms. Gallagher, We are happy to welcome your father to the Baltimore VA Medical Center, a division of the VA Maryland Health Care System. I am happy to report that we have a parking garage directly under the Baltimore VA Medical Center that offers free parking for Veteran patients on levels P1, P2 and P3, and free valet parking on level P1. After your father moves to Baltimore, I would recommend having him call the Veterans Health Administration Call Center at 877-222-8387 and Press 1 Monday through Friday between Monday - Friday from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. to have his care moved to the Baltimore VA Medical Center. After his care has been moved, he can contact our Appointment Center to schedule his first visit with his new primary care provider at the Baltimore VA Medical Center by calling 410-605-7333 Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Due to COVID-19, your father's first primary care visit will be a virtual visit. The parking garage is under the medical center. There is valet service and of course, both he parking and valet are free.
