Update: Diana the director of patient care services came and spoke to me about these issues immediately and was really on top of everything! I added another star because I’m sure “patient care services” is where i should’ve reach out to for these issues to get some of them taken care of. I’ll raise the review as things get better, but a few things are just poor quality in the facility. Currently here now and it’s an awful experience. The AC doesn’t work in my room so I’m just constantly sweating, however the shower also doesn’t work. I came in with stomach issues and have been getting one peace of information on what’s going on a day (as in i might get my blood drawn day one and for some reason wait an entire day to get a CT scan. Then I don’t get the results from that scan for like 6 hours because they just don’t ever come back to fill me in).. it’s insane how little urgency goes on in here and how poor you are treated. I’d recommend that if you have any other options, go somewhere else. As my nurse was wheeling me to my CT scan he was telling me a story about how he was suspended for 2 weeks from being a nurse and now he has absolutely no loyalty to the VA and just doesn’t care. Whatever the reason, that’s not what I want to hear from the person taking care of me!!!

Quiet and relaxed considering COVID-19. Some employees liven up the place. Then there's the employees who get tired of the veterans.

If they had more people in there that care about Veterans like Shandra Brown in imaging that place would be top notch. The 5 stars are for HER. Whoever takes the calls for MRI scheduling needs a new job though. My own Mama never talked down to me like that. He is lucky he works from home or he would catch these hands.

20 minutes to get ahold of the operator. It only took him 3 seconds to transfer the call. Are you trying to tell me 1200 veterans are calling the operator every minute and that's why it takes 20 minutes to reach the guy who transfers your call.

667 W Fayette St, Baltimore, MD 21201 will take you to parking garage on the left hand side of road.
There is a free parking lot that recently opened back up after renovations were completed. This lot is primarily for Disabled Veteran's and acive duty military with appointments or being seen for other reasons. Visitor's have to find alternative parking at a pay lot if not with the Veteran which is typically available nearby.
You should contact some one at the VA or HUDVASH at the VA to guide you in the right direction.
There is a parking garage at the hospital. However, it is closed for repairs until December 2018. There is free parking and a free shuttle service at an off site garage 2 blocks away at Saratoga and Greene Street that runs 24 hours a day.
Mr. Evans, The max height for entering the parking garage at the Baltimore VA Medical Center is 6' 11". Thank you. VA Maryland Health Care System
Ms. McKinney, there is not a notary available at the Baltimore VA Medical Center, but most local bank branch offices now have notaries. Thank you. VA Maryland Health Care System
Mr. Johnson, The VA issues enrolled Veterans a Veterans Health Identification Card (VHIC) for use at VA health care facilities. The VHIC is used as proof of identity and to check-in for appointments at VA health care facilities. While the card is not required to receive health care, VA recommends all enrolled Veterans have one. To obtain a VHIC, you will need to provide one form of primary identification (your driver’s license, passport or other federal, state or local photo ID with your address) to your local VA health care facility and have your photo taken. The card will be mailed to you, usually within 7 to 10 days after the card has been requested. Thank you. VA Maryland Health Care System
I had to select a financial lender, like USAA, who helped me. I obtained an online certificate of eligibility document first, then received the signed original document later.

No, there is not a shuttle service between the Baltimore VA Medical Center and Hopkins Plaza. There is a Veterans Service Officer from the Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs that works at the Baltimore VA Medical Center several days a week to assist veterans with their benefit claims. He works out of the OEF/OIF Program Office on the 6th floor of the medical center.
No, but your VA PCP can rewrite the prescription so you can pick it up there. Just call your PACT team nurse.
No. Only veteran patients with an appointment at the Baltimore VA Medical Center are allowed to park in the garage. Individuals who park in the garage when they are not authorized are subject to fines and back payments of parking fees. These restrictions are in place to make sure there is always enough parking for our veteran patients on they day of their scheduled appointment.

Bring your dd214 with you and go to enrollment in the main lobby to the left of out-patient pharmacy.
