I have been trying to get a representative for almost two months now. Turned in my paperwork, and just NEVER hear back. Out of the 100 times I tried calling them, they answered once...to hang right up on me because it was 5 minutes until close and they didn't want to bother answering my question.

Disabled American Veterans is a service organization that works hard to try and help veterans. They are however limited and as I found out (I am a disabled veteran) - sometimes you need a lawyer who will take your review on contingency. That's why I went to law school and am working to help veterans with their claims. I also want to help organizations like this one but anyone can feel free to reach out to me if you're not getting the help you deserve. Let's work together to help veterans and make organizations like this more successful.

After speaking with John about my appreciation for what DAV has done for me and volunteering to be a CSO for the organization, he didn't have the decency to call a the veteran that I referred to him to even say hello. Is John a reflection of how this organization operates? The ratings of this office are steadily declining. Is there an interest of this by any member in this office? I called again today to get support to a needing veteran and provided his name and number. I was told John (DAV Rep) is new and inexperienced, which is why he didn't call back yesterday and he has a ten day response time. They also asked for the veterans personal info to include social security number, even after I informed them I am not his advocate. They told me that they can't help without his information. I feel the lack of experience level and training is hurting the DAV as a whole. Please have the calls monitored to evaluate the customer service (or lack thereof) of this office. Someone should verify if this can be rectified or close this subpar office. DAV is funded by the VA and doesn't condone this lack of support.. The VA director will be notified of the comments with regards to this lack of support.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME!!! Tried calling while sitting in the office, several different numbers to include direct and not a single phone rang. They shut their phones off during working hours bc they don’t actually want to help veterans. I got more help with the VA right next door and another closer to my home. Don’t waste your time.
