As of 1/21/18 one of the on-duty rangers said the expected repair time would be 2-3 months, but that repairs were still in a planning stage and thus those numbers are liable to change.
Looks like they are waiting for the weather to improve before continuing with the work. Probably not going to be ready until late spring or early summer.

The rails are still in process of being fixes from Irma. Unknown reopen date.
