Boulware is more scrub habitat, but just 5 minutes up the road is La Chua Trail. It's a pretty good place to view Alligators. It's about a 15 minute walk from the parking lot.

I dont think so. You have to park and walk down a trail buts its only like a mile. If you want to see lots of alligators without walking much look up one of the alligator farms.
