You need to keep looking don't forget to check the Animal Rescue League on Oleander. They have had an influx of mixed small breed recently.
We got our dog at this facility seven years ago. He is a Silky Terrier. They do get many breeds that are small. Remember that all of these dogs and cats come from broken homes and are in need of lots of care and understanding. It is all worth it because of the love you get back.
