They likely won't "hold" the dog that long. Once it's been surrendered and put up as an adoptable pet whoever gets it, gets it. You need to let them know asap that you want the dog back and you'll have to go pick it up now rather than 2 weeks from now. They won't board the dog for that long unless it just happens to not be adopted within that time frame.
