I am so very sorry. When a family pet dies it is such a lose that hopefully time will heal your hearts. It would be best to call the shelter for that answer.
We are so sorry to hear about you loss. Our hearts are with you in this time of loss. We are unable to take in already deceased pets for disposal. There are several cremation services in the area. Your vet may also be able to take deceased pets.
