You don't NEED an appointment to license, in fact, I am not aware appointments are available. I always known the LSLB to be on a first come first served basis. In the past two years, the folks at LSLB have streamlined their system, have become very efficient and VERY customer-centric. This past first of July, I had to year tag a vehicle. My experience told me to be there EARLY. I was #3 in line at 6 A.M. for the 8 A.M. opening. Just after 7 A.M. workers started coming in to the office. At 7:42 A.M., lady opens the door and announces "We're all ready, what say we start a little early." I was done, out and on my way to Starbucks at 7:50 A.M. Appointment? Sure, if they'll do it. Appointment Needed? Naw, just be smart about going in.
