I mailed a package to my son who is a soldier at Ft. Irwin that should have been received on April 22nd. He has still not seen his package. What is the proceedure for mail? How should packages be addressed? There is not a lot of information here.

I went to post office and had the package weighed and stamped. After the date it should have been there came and went I called Fr. Irwin post office and waited an hour for someone to pick up the phone. They said the package was delivered but there but they don't know who picked it up. It definately was not my son. Nobody seems to know anything. Ridiculous!!

Definitely use the tracking number to follow up on the location. If needed call the ft Irwin p.o and use that same number, they should be able to help you further. Address should be addressed properly and to his location such as, John Doe 123 marine dr. Ft Irwin Ca, 92310 Make sure to pay proper postage for size of package!
