Yes, several of the bus tours stop at pad 34. Well worth the trip. If you like Mercury and Gemini the History of Space Flight tour on to Canaveral Air Base is well worth the extra time!
I don't believe that's accurate. LC34 is on the Cape side and I believe you need a CAC or Cape Canaveral access to get to it.
